The Ancestors and the womb.

The Ancestors and the womb.

A Poem by SELF

The ancestors and the womb are one
Interlinked
  Interlinked.

A recollection of memories long past
a union with the spirit
and amidst the stars our history dances.

The ancestors and the womb are one,
they hug me quickly and softly
like the warm, sweet wind.
They touch me with the hands of time
and feed my head with wisdom that isn't from this day and time.

Indeed,
the ancestors and the womb are one.
