A Fool's Paradise.A Poem by SELFWelcome to a fool's paradise, where beings walk with necks made of iron and heads made of steel. The aesthetic intricacies of this paradise are as a mirage in a desert, which the thirsty man thinks to be water, until, when he comes to it, he finds it to be nothing. Welcome to a fool's paradise, where beings walk with the latest clean fashion clothes whilst their hearts need detergent. Where people can't see the right road when the streets are paved. They walk in the illumination of street lamps but their souls linger in the abyss of spiritual darkness. In this paradise, people live for the weekend to norm out the damage backs swaying with the latest club incantation hearts waning and spirits yearning for rest. Welcome to a fool's paradise, where most souls never grow to become fully fledged lives. A fool's paradise is fleeting and fades as quickly as the steam from a heated stew.
