Homemade.

Homemade.

A Poem by SELF

Park up your tools for your raw power moves
step into the light or remain in the dark
On the road,
everyday you meet millions of masks
but very few faces
In any case,
stay who you are.

Grass doesn't grow on the road everyone's walking on,
so find another point of perception
one that doesn't make you shape shift
one that embraces the totality of who you are.

Open your eyes to the backstabbers
open your ears to the backbiters
and be steadfast in the commitment of your moral improvement.

Masks are only good for determining who the bandits are in old western movies. But I pay little heed to the backstabbers and backbiters. I'm like a turtle and keep my backside covered. I like that "moral improvement". I work on that every day. A good read, thanks for sharing.
