I am Light.

I am Light.

A Poem by SELF

Beautiful Soul, I'm surprised there's a body that can hold you.
O weary flame shining dimly in veiled darkness,
burdened by the raging storms that come with the fury of the night.
Don't forget your light in this state of subjection.
Reflect,
ponder,
be mindful, and meditate on Who you are.
Ask yourself this; "Who I'm I".
Ask yourself earnestly and truly.
Who I'm I?
Who are You?
I'm not my name,
I am Light.
I am not my hair,
I am Light.
I'm not the skin on the outside,
I'm not the image you've created in your mental faculty of understanding
I'm not my age, I'm not my race
My soul inside is all light.
I am Light,
the rock of ages gone by and ages soon to come.
I am Light!
