Concrete Jungle

Concrete Jungle

A Poem by SELF

A jungle floating in the dark void of space
we live in a fortified jungle
civilized animals playing dress up with fortified hearts
We have no possession of value but our Soul.
In this Jungle,
I extend myself
In this Jungle,
between sanity and insanity there lies a thin line
Dear concrete jungle
by hand
teach me to love you
by heart
as I do now
