Ephemeral existence

Ephemeral existence

A Poem by SELF

The everyday illusory components of our lives make us suffer an amnesia of our inseparable ties.
In this astonishing movement of life, truth and fallacy collide against each other
two polarities whose origin is veiled in the impenetrable mist of the past
a past buried in total darkness

Change begins within our minds, but the mind tends to be rigid, firm and chained in its own fantasy
Human beings walk around with vast inner apartments
some filled with joy, happiness, and laughter
some filled with pain, agony and despair
I'm very much certain that these inner apartments exceed any skyscraper's apartments.

We're indeed a bottomless ocean that's held by invisible forces
forces that our eyes can't see
feelings, thoughts and emotions twist and turn within our skulls hoping to find a peaceful sublime state
An individual is delved from a foundation of not being separate
a conclusion of total oneness
an indivisible entity.

As we mingle through this mysterious incomprehensible phenomena of human life
whose destination is hidden in the unfathomable depths of the future
we yearn and seek for security.
As we mingle through this phenomena on an oblong planet hauling in the void on its own orbit
we seek for security in the wrong places.

It is within ourselves that all the answers dwell
in a colorful well-guarded silence.
