Love's Paradox

Love's Paradox

A Poem by Gabrielle Linch

The heart is open, but remains closed.

This emotion is alien in a fimilar propose.

Love is strength with a dash of weakness,

Trying to find hope in all it's bleakness.

This is a piece full of dissonance and the confusion of emotions.

The first line of this... "The heart is open, but remains closed." Wow! I love that so much. This whole writing is so simple, yet oh so meaningful. I feel this. Great job! :-)

A heart that's open yet closed surely describes one whom had a broken heart before, and naturally they will feel love is an alien invader it takes so much time to heal that heart .Sadly though some never do heal.short and sweet
