Broken Dream Cacther

Broken Dream Cacther

A Story by Gabriella

The dangling chimes, that grace the dream catcher you left behind, hum a bittersweet symphony of "I miss you's," in the gust of crisp air that circulates my sanctuary. Each clink, a painful yet reassuring reminder of the special bond we shared. If dream catchers are supposed to catch the bad dreams, why hasn't it filtered this one? Reached out, and strangled it with the complex web of thread containing our deepest fears, and most dreadful memories?
Although, I suppose, this is more of a nightmare. No, a burden of the heart and soul. Not even the elegant beaded feathers can relieve the pain of not having your kind soul, and beaming aura gracing my presence. It's broken, the dream catcher, it's been torn apart.. massacred by this nightmare. Its's now beyond comprehension.

Please excuse any errors made. I would also like to add that i know it is, "unfinished," in a sense. There is a purpose in that.

Finish it, Gabriella.
You are a precious dream not to be
wasted on the absent .
There is a live poem waiting for you,
not a dream, but a live, breathing hero.
Someone worthy of your poetry exists.
