I imagined life to be by your side 

when you left i was horrified

being unprepared for the adversities of the world

gripping onto the hope of someone’s heart 

telling your son your the love of my life

looking like the bad one now 

how can i redo the simple hello to a never ending goodbye 

the sound of your heart sounded like a lullaby 

distant track but always on my mind 

i tried to take you back 

somehow it never works like that 

i let us go and never looked back 

sometimes i think of that 

how stupid i feel and how you must be free

still, I BLAME ME 

thinking til this night how i am trying to improve my side of the tracks 

making art to inspire 

never wanting to be another desire 

hard to love and easy to let go 

why can’t you tell me what’s to live for
