Dear, Dear DollA Poem by GZ
Sun will rise from the East soon,
another wave on the shores enlightened by a dying moon, a weird sight of the sea and its deep color's bloom, rising at the horizon a saturated love which with time grew, as our time matures as I look at you, oh my dear, dear string-less doll in this world hanging from a noose. So I'm here sitting in the dark listening to silence, surrounded only by walls which make the scene seem quieter, staring at the shapes of a creature and of the creatures the nicer, drum rolls of a heart which now rests pound-less, lighter than a feather riding the wind in this deep darkness, that my dear, dear string-less doll in this world of puppets. And as rain wets my soul's windows, water leaks, dripping drops slowly running down my cheeks, an upraising smile surprises me pushing me to think, I'm so lucky I have everything I need and it's laying right in front of me, a beautiful thought making me see clear, I see my dear, dear string-less doll in this world of myths. A shy ray penetrates the curtain laying on thy face, thee, Sleeping Beauty, with a cheap prince and no reign, smiling at thy dreams with thy eyes shut as they were caged, reassure my fears showing me the way out this troubled maze, leading me to this new day, this new blank page, thanks to my dear, dear string-less doll in this world of hate. © 2014 GZ |
