Dear Justice,

Dear Justice,

A Poem by GZ

Dear Justice,
so pure and blindly acting,
so confusing yet everlasting,
righteousness of an ideal,
so abstract yet so real.
Bright and hopeful - you bring peace,
wounds and scars you gently heal,
such beauty - for you so many would have killed,
but so many lied to you,
and many more manipulated you.
Dear Justice,
you're not a word, you too feel the numbness,
you were made of my same substance,
you're my promise,
you're to me what seems so flawless.
You so kind,
so merciful and divine,
you so dedicate and bright,
always surprising me,
showing something new - something I've never seen.
Me, I, so kind in the words in those lines,
I made you upset and reversed your smiles,
and now me - repentant, writes those rhymes.
Waiting, for time,
to heal my scars left on you, while I ashamed myself in grime.
Please forgive me.
Is Justice made?
Come back - be mine,
my love for you won't fade.
