Diamonds & Dust

Diamonds & Dust

A Poem by GZ

Enchanted and corrupted by a magic that brings just dead,
picked on and excluded from a society that rules them.

Like fake diamonds they look precious,
but they worth none but the rust,
speaking of victory if you are religious,
but all they give you back is dust.

And so from dust came dust,
and to the dust it ends,
told to do not lust,
but sins are everywhere.

If God really had plans then they would already be done,
but seems all he had was a wish to get us running - now he's gone.
A goal is none but a wish if there's not a plan,
and seems the playground was for spare time,
you all can stop the prayers.

Sometimes we all feel a little this way. The trick is to just get on with it, mate. It made a good read. Well done.
