The Question

The Question

A Poem by GZ

I've seen roses blush at the sight of your smile,
sunflowers turn to you like you're the sun in their eyes,
birds singing you love,
dreams suddenly stop,
puzzles unsolved - now are all good and done,
you've stolen the key to my heart and my soul.

You got me awestruck,
fulfilled my lacks with good luck,
cleaned my life from the dust,
helped me out of a cage in which I was stuck.
You let your head on my lap,
you found me lost and you gave me a map.

I love you, more than you'd understand,
you're beyond my best friend,
you're the reason I stand,
you're the why I breath in air.
You're why time starts with you and seems to so quickly end.
I love you, more than anyone else.

I have one question, one only,
if it hurts you I'm sorry,
it's real simple - you don't have to say nothing,
please be true there's no need to hurry,
take your time and answer this question: do you love me?
Answer with a kiss or say nothing.
