Quit

Quit

A Poem by GZ

I think that's it. It's over. I call quit.
I came to you, discuss,
explained the problem...but I got buzzed:
you seemed to let me go - easy, with no harm.
And now I'm here - wounded on the battlefield.
I begged for your help but what I got is you turning your back - what a painful melody.
Deaf and silent with no sounds nor remedy,
seems like time itself made of dreams my nightmares - changing their chemestry.
More than end what started with rhymes,
I have no ideas passing through my mind,
yet it would still very nice,
if my sorrow would just stop tonight,
all I have to do is stop my fight.

Yet memories recall me, moments and times - I promised,
I'd never give up with thee love,
and that's exactly what I carry on.
But if I can put up with thou,
with thy savage, with thy "truths",
with thy absence,with thy look,
I can't put up during this moon.
There's no sanity in what I say or do,
and apparently my words are sharpened knives to thou,
even if when spoke by my, their only intention was to cure,
but please go on - kill what's left with no close look.
Apparently details, are like ants on a railroad for thou.
