The Sound

The Sound

A Poem by GZ

Aye - in life,
many sounds come by and by,
but often life is but a rush,
and those sounds end up in the trash.

The sound of dropping tears,
deaf and silent comes by near,
mute and yet so noisy,
like snowflakes melting - beautiful and pure like holy.

The departure of a leaf,
like a silent drop of belief,
leaves a place,
to land in new gardens with grace.

Even the blowing of a wind,
so evident - yet - it's missed still,
just as ideas are often missed,
because something may be risked.

Many are the examples,
yet life is but a wrong sort,
misplaced priorities,
and falsified philosophies.
