Tides Of Life

Tides Of Life

A Poem by GZ

As moon and sun cycle,
lights comes and dark shadows,
tides from deep to the shores close,
tight then released to then do it once more.
It's a tug of war.

Smiles and tears switch up fast,
in a struggle between heaven and hell,
life spells out a verdict,
which we have to accept with all its risks.
Leaving memories recorded in disks.

Night comes and sea comes closer,
in a place where people are poseur,
all is fancy or is too black,
happy or extremely sad.
Until light comes and snaps us back.

Moring - reality comes back around,
tide disappeared - made not one sound,
here the problems have faces,
the faces names and names have places.
And me my fear embraces.

Time has highs and time has lows,
time is life and life's a prose,
a journey of a ship,
in an ocean of facts and sins.
It's the tide of life that sinks...
