Rise To Dawn

Rise To Dawn

A Poem by GZ

Sometimes I stop and wonder,
surrounded by a world that moves like nonsense,
hopping in and hopping out,
trying to understand what I have now.

I look down and...

I find my hands full of gibberish,
and my heart which is of friends rich,
I spot scars but in the distance,
they're but errors in the past - an instance.

I close my eyes and...

I remember how cold it was in these Novembers,
back when my parties had zero members,
I recall so many times where I grew up in,
a box with images - so colorful but black when not plugged in.

I touch my pen and...

I write all out,
like during war what did the scout,
marking my map with signs,
so that when I move forward I don't lost of past the sight.

I hear the noise and...

From many sounds I sort yours out,
from pain and misery I hear hope loud,
blessed voices of saviors,
like melodies from carillons.

I smell the air and...

It's not warm and used,
it's new and fresh like this world that always moves,
cool and pleasant,
dislikeing it I can't.

Everything I do I remember,
everyone I met is a new picture to render,
memories forever stuck,
from none to excessive luck.

I see the changes of a life from rise to dawn.
