The Moment Of Death

The Moment Of Death

A Poem by GZ

Dark pastels drawing the picture,
of a life spent solving thy issues,
from shades of grey to dark and deep,
thee I knew - now thee I leave.

Souls now sorrowful and full of regrets,
but life is borrowed - don't worry my friends.
Thou I met and won't forget,
from here now life to here now death.

Dust from dust, to dust thy dust indeed will rust,
and past will fast become present as the future lasts,
but then thy future too, will slowly fade in the dark.

Now I lazily lay, in this bed that's now my grave,
living now all the many dreams, that in life I dreamed to live.
Farewell,farewell: my time has come.
Death by hand took me to my tomb.
