Blank Pages

Blank Pages

A Poem by GZ

To blank pages thyself was found staring,
dreams from mind to signs on paper,
hopes accumulating - under oaths are rising.

Gaining subjects from the sun rising,
moving objects to the stage make people facing,
truths and lies hidden from thou from the old ancients ages.

May not this the Lethe reach,
as flows the water provides to the nature's grown,
as words the lungs are spoken from,
let a poem the river hold.

As the alchemy goes,
thee world dies to then reborn - death is the life's cost,
forgetting for new names get thy mind to host.

Lost crusaders spilling ink,
enemies' guts, throats cut with a perfect link,
making their swords slowly sink.

Leak hope - go reach thy dreams,
cast the torment on these sheets,
kings and princes slaves become,
when thy mind on paper signs so.
