Strangers

Strangers

A Poem by Gabby The GAB

You were strangers
This is a poem about someone's love
A kind of love that's unusual to find
Literally finding someone profound
Did things just happen for a reason?
or
Let us put it this way
You met as strangers
You were both anonymous
And now you're talking about pain
The pain of letting someone go
or
The pain of leaving someone
You guys were unaware that time is running out
It was like a time bomb waiting to explode
To maintain good relationship, what were you expecting?
And now the both of you is hurt
or
Are you even?
This is the side wherein I tell you what I feel
I get it, I'm the third person of the story
I don't really know anything about it at all
Does someone want to keep telling me the story?
or
I guess I'd be a stranger to the story too
Whatever works for you, I am but a reliever of pain, a discomfort of sadness
I am here and I am open
Just like a book, you need to read the beginning to know the ending
You bid farewell as strangers
