Quarantine

Quarantine

A Poem by Gabby The GAB

Quarrel with the mind, thinking too much and reacting too little

Understatement is but a word of contrast to the things that I should have done

An unending thought of discouragement on what to do next

Reality hit me so hard that I felt that I could have done more but what now? Or how about now?

Again, with these what-ifs, and with all these thoughts just kept on haunting me

Normally, I’d just sleep it off but now, I got nothing else to do

To make it seem unordinary, it kinda felt like, what am I even thinking?

It doesn’t stop there, it gets weirder every time

Nagging myself cuz I’m a bit lost, well what about you?

Exaggeration in itself, weird thoughts and weird events
