Losing Control

Losing Control

A Poem by Gabby Nieves

If I'm a sinner, you must stand by Heaven's door
The cold has come long ways
Days passing with the drugs on my tongue
Fading into delicious glory
A feeling where control is ashed
Gardens begin to grow inside my mind
Thoughts ignite from the rotteness
Cemeteries sprout life in pink and yellow
Put your words down,
Don't lie to me anymore
I'm already dead
You see, the cold has traveled far,
and found a home inside of me

Some of the worst 'sinners' are the best poets. I love this, such strong emotion portrayed in each line, a joy to read. You have a gift for expression, which is not easily achievable . 100/100
