Embodiment

Embodiment

A Poem by Gabby Nieves

If you see my words,
hear me out
I am the embodiment of broken
The strips of skin glued all over,
just a mask now.
Send me off,
say goodbye
If I slit my throat
If I got away,
where were you?
The windows are open at the factory
where people are made
One by one,
The embodiment of Fate
