Day one

I don’t know what it was that drew me to Eve, only that it was the strongest force on earth at that moment in time. She wasn't attractive but I could feel her heart and i could feel her passion, I hadn't felt like this before. but it was amazing she kept her eyes locked on me and she struggled to talk as she poured her heart out to me

her words came through in sobs "She-wont-make-it." Her words cut me like a knife and I could feel her pain; I could feel how she was losing the woman that had raised her,

the woman who had taught her how to think and feel, the woman who was her mother.

I couldn't help but wrap my arms around her and hold her. "Hey lets go outside; maybe it'll be a little less stressful." That worked a little for me when my father had passed away", she nodded and we both walked outside it was cold but it felt good to be out in the open air. "Hey mike, i'm glad you were here.. you've always been there for me, once i got the news i didn't know what else to do" I smiled and held her hand. "I will always be there for you Eve" She smiled as i wiped away her tears. "Come on I will take you home", "okay" she sniffled and pulled me towards her car. I would have to miss work the next day but it didn't matter to me at all.
