Abandoned

On a moonless night I sit,
In bitter rumination.
The girl I loved hath left my life,
I'm lost in lamentation.

The darkness doth engulf me,
No star is in the sky.
My lady love hath left me,
Wouldn't even tell me why.

I'd like to say I'll be okay,
I'll move on, I'll forget.
But this would be a total lie,
I'll stew in my regret.

Nothing matters anymore,
I've lost my will to live.
I drove away my one true love,
Myself, I cant forgive.
