God-Sent ManA Poem by Beatles9322ERIC!A strange sort of heat encircles me now. It envelops my person with a firm yet tender vengeance.
It is determined to correct every abuse inflicted upon its love. It will not relinquish its hold on me.
This heat has a name. A God-sent man has been blessed with the gifts of heat, light, and peace.
Although a man in all respects, he takes several forms in my path. Each time he greets me, I am reminded of my worth.
This man takes the form of the gleaming sun, beaming on my face as I face the day. His light encourages me.
Then he becomes the gentle rain, empathizing with my hurt. His tears are mine and mine are his own, because we are one.
Lastly, my love becomes the moon, softening the ferocity of night. He lights my path and comforts me. My love is a God-sent man. © 2012 Beatles9322Reviews
