The Only WayA Poem by Beatles9322Eric, again 2/7/12
They say that jazz musicians are cool and composed.
Never missing a beat, their eyes see through all of the superficial silliness of this life. They know how to rise above it all. Was that a hint of nervousness I saw in your eye? I could've sworn it was. Just as quickly, sadly, it's gone without a trace. I'm left to wonder and worry. Did you just smile? It was the tiniest little one, yet I'm sure it was a smile...for your eyes lit up. Blast! There it flies, up toward the other angels in heaven, or our peaceful and holy home. For two days I will turn this over in my mind. Does he love me? Was it my passionate imagination? The only way to be certain, I gather, it to walk up to you and plant a big kiss on your pink lips. © 2012 Beatles9322Reviews
