A Lonely Princess's Battle With A Corrupt Knight And Her Heart

This is about my best friend, Heather, who found out that her boyfriend of a year has cheated on her. I love you, girl.

A princess of no more than 17
Loved a corrupt knight of ten and eight.
With heart so big and full of dreams
She learned too late his great mistake.

"It was just one time!" The corrupt knight exclaimed to her, desperate.
"I thought of you all the while!" He pleaded with the princess.
Tears flowed from her eyes like an open floodgate.
Her life, tragic, could do without this extra mess.

Torn between what she thought and what she felt
The princess requested the help of her sister.
Her sister, when she heard the news, would melt.
She did. She wept with her and cursed him!

The advice from her sister made her stronger.
Her love made the princess's mind eased.
Her sister said to "love him no longer."
A princess should be treated as SHE pleased.

It is too soon to know
Just what the lonely princess will decide.
Whether she will accept the corrupt knight or let him go, one thing she knows,
Is that her sister is by her side.

This is alot to deal with. Its not fair to hurt someone in such a way.
To say they were thought about "all the while" is the worst thing
that could be said. That cuts like a knife.
