Oneness In A World Of Loneliness

Oneness In A World Of Loneliness

This is a poem about a guy I currently have feelings for. Read the Author's Note first, then the poem! :)

The way your full, luscious lips spread apart to reveal a smile with perfect, white teeth.
The manner in which your sensuous dark brown eyes rise to meet mine.
Our eyes match in color...another sign of our compatibility.
I adore how you never know which group to join in Chemistry.
But I weep inside at the same time.
Loneliness must consume your being.
Friends make life worth living.
Come over to me, baby, and be MY friend.
I'll make you comfortable with a gentle rub of my thumb across the back of your pale hand...
I'll show you love with each kiss of my full lips against yours...
I'll be yours forever when we make love each night, listening to the sound of our hearts...
Our heart beats match perfectly...
We are not two people...but one...
This kind of oneness does not come along every day...
Baby, please tell me you'll stay...
Come, dear Frankie...
And be my baby...

Author's Note

Beatles9322
The three periods at the end of the last few lines symbolize a kind of fantasy in which our love exists. It's like drifting off to sleep...The one period at the beginning symbolizes the reality of loneliness and the briefness it is once we find our true love. Thanks!!!

Well, the corniness of it aside (and make no mistake, there's nothign wrong with corniness), this is...nice... To be wanted like that; what a beautiful thing you have here in this piece.
