Lord of the Flies Alternate Ending

This is my idea of an alternate ending to Lord of the Flies. :D

A mask, a paint,

To cover the marks,

To hide the shame,

To disguise my face,

Who am I?,

I ask as I peer,

Into the crystal water,

This is not me,

What happened to the boy,

With the handstands and fair hair?,

The appearance has changed,

But the heart is the same,

This is not the life I chose,

But as Jack and the other savages come near,

I lose my British heart of gold,

And pretend to be Ralph the Savage once more.
