A rock

Sometimes even your rock is a dangerous place.

A rock
Normally seen as a harbor
A safe haven from the storm
An unchanging consistency
Someone to rely on
Someone who cares for you
But not my rock
My rock is a scary place
A place I do not feel safe in 
A place where I should feel found
But only feel lost
My rock
Does not let me speak
Does not let me cry
My rock
Demands it's own satisfaction
Or it will leave me
My rock 
Only cares about itself
And it's problems
Because I don't have any
It won't let me
So I stopped letting it in
And now I'm getting lost 
In the place I hid from for so long
Left to drown in the turbulent waters
And another rock seems so far away
But my selfish rock seems farther
