 Heart of Patience Lapse

A map to no-hope painted on a white pillow by tears of agony
While reality drags back the bygone day’s blues & miseries
His heart ripped with sharp pieces of broken promises
and his memory lane littered by shredded memories
His stars are camouflaged by a blinding daylight
black ink spilled on his dream canvas, worked on day & night

the heart is too fragile for the clumsy, he refused to listen
as he throws down his heart & watch her catch another
she tortured him softly as he disguises his emotions with a smile
he despised that he won’t be able to fight for her, lie for her & die for her
Seeing the heart she chose, displayed on the window of her soul
he kept blinking for his eyes may turn cold

seeking a loophole with a stitched heart in hand
but afraid she won’t follow
turning a slave to an affection he doesn’t understand
as his life paths grew narrow
Only if he could open his eyes, rub off the blur & gape
His pointless journey of blindness

I can definitely relate to this poem, and it is so beautifully outlined and structured. I could imagine the boy, and what he is going through. I relate so much to this poem that it is unbelievable. Thank you eternally for sharing this lovely piece.
