What Is It We're DoingA Poem by a MessengerThoughts on a situation a friend is in.
What is it we're doing when we covet another's spouse? Acting like a theif breaking into their house.
To steal what's not ours to fulfill our own selfish lust. Destroying a fam'ly; can we say that's just?
Taking from children one of their parent's presence so we can make our life a little more pleasant.
Is it selfish to want what is rightfully another's? To deal them a blow from which they can't recover?
Is it right to desire that which can never be our own? Or should we walk away and just leave them alone?
