So This is My Life

Ruminating on my day to day existence

 

 

 

I love to play

my video games.

They keep my days 

from all being the same.

 

I pass much time

watching TV.

It helps  keep me

from feeling so lonely.

 

I love to read.

I'll read any book

except for those

that teach you to cook.

 

I write poetry

though less than I should.

I guess because

I'm just not that good.

 

So this is my life

in my latter days.

Lord knows it's changed

in so many ways.

I don't know if i'll read any book... Anne Rice, James patterson... Now those are books I read... TV really is a cure for the lonely in a way... although i think that books are a better cure because you get more attached to the characters lol... This is a good poem, I like how i can relate to it lol... Great job!
