STORM FOR A SHOWA Poem by ALAN BOWMAN
Shadows of day, Dance into night As a storm forms overhead. Great clatter of thunder, Like volcanoes erupting; Drumming everywhere. Great flashes of lightning Dangling from the sky, Like tinsel on a Christmas tree. Rain silhouetted, Rolling around, Like pearls reflecting the light; As if putting on a show. As quick as it comes, Away it goes, With thunder clapping far away; Rain and lightning on its way - To dance another day... © 2009 ALAN BOWMANReviews
