“To Be a Princess”

“To Be a Princess”

A Poem by G. A. Bernard

“To Be a Princess”
Many would think to be grand
She who was designated lived a life
Tortured by a dysfunctional system
And expectations of an obsessed public
Who thought they knew her
Driven mad by smothering traditions
And outdated rituals
She died so young in a tunnel
Hounded by paparazzi
A mere mortal not a Goddess

oh wow, thing is honey, royalty, or lady is a b***h. All first Ladies can't do certain things, and live in affliction and hoard. It causes me much dismay, but we are Democracy, and Ideal still to pinnacle, great read hon, :D

your welcome dear
Poor Diana, such a sad turn of events, it’s certainly not all it’s cracked up to be living in the public eye, a thought provoking poem G.A.Bernard.
