HomeA Poem by Brandon M. WhittakerBlehskisClose your eyes Take a breath Let it out Feel every muscle in your body tense Then relax... Open your eyes Watch it happen Your mind shrieks to stop it But your body is deaf Particular emotion holds your limbs tight Constricting your chances as much as your movements It's getting closer now You feel it on your face The temperature is increasing Your eyes want to water But are as try as a desert Your mouth wants to open You want to scream But that emotions which holds physically Now too holds vocally Here it comes The heat The incineration of hope Preceeds your final thought Of home.
