Silenced

Silenced

A Poem by Brandon M. Whittaker
"

Again...can't sleep

"

Drifting into mindless rage

Slowly succumbing to disaster

Wait for it

It bleeds through the mind

Like clogged drain jutting water into the air

Frustrated

At the arrogance of life

The cruelty of its adoration

Reckless abandon

Set free by particles of light

Trickling through the branches of forest trees

The vision goes red

And the rage bursts free

The mind slips

And sanity is silenced

I love the last line... And sanity is silanced. A fitting ending to a sad beginning...

I've read a few of your poems now..and its really incredible, the passion and emotions you are able to put into them. For me, I cant write anything unless I am truely feeling it.. and I think that all of your expereinces.. which are probably more horrible than I can imagine, have become an amazing source of power and spirit. Your writing shows me even more now that every person and every experience is its own complex bit of emotions and to let it out and to share it with the world... that is something truely beautiful.. Thank you.

This is awesome! You're a great writer. Lol, I'd tell you which part's my favorite, but I like it all, so I can't.
