Bursts of Light

There's a bunch of drunk people around me...

Bursts of light
Blinding of senses
Dulling of mind
Sound amplifies
Speech is slowed
As the wounds numb
And the pain subsides
The remains of that which was taken
Is given back all at once
And at the end, when eyes close
Sleep is absolute.
