Condemned Heart

Condemned Heart

A Poem by Brandon M. Whittaker
"

WHOA!! Heavy seas! *queasy*

"

Reach out

Touch the mind

Convergance of the heart and soul

Torture the thought process

Bleed out the memory

Look not unto the future

Nor unto the past

Burn the present

Erase your own existance

Freedom condemns

So does love in so many ways

Hear thee one last request...

Remember this condemned heart

As it erodes with the tides of the past.

How are things on the sea, by the way? I haven't checked in with you in awhile.

Glad you're still posting. I love it :)

First, let me say that I hope you are safe and sound and the seas have settled!

As for the poem,
dark and emotional..
very well written!
Not bad for something
you wrote in a rocking ship!

Its flow is perfect...
Its content heavy and felt.

Excellent job Brandon!
