Thorn

Thorn

A Poem by Brandon M. Whittaker
"

Life can be a thorn in your side sometimes...would you rip it out if you could?

"

Tear the thorn from the vein

Cause the bleeding to sustain its flow

Watch the crimson cover your paleness

And sever the nerve from its source

Feeling explodes

And the abhoration of thought

Is deceased with the heart

The falsity of emotion

Releases a pain beyond that which you feel

And that which you fathom cannot be undone

Nor can the death

Of which you brought upon yourself.

Wow-intensely depthful work brandon
effective and well written
Encapsulates the concept
of darkness invading
Nicely done.

Very beautiful in its' darkness...The colours of red, white and blue came to mind and your poem appealed to all my senses. Wonderful...

Brilliant. Much Kudos. It was kind of sad, but again I like it. : )
