Moonlit Tears

Moonlit Tears

A Poem by Brandon M. Whittaker
"

Just a stray burst of creativity

"

Stars above, light the sky

Like the moon's tears

Spread across an open sky

I pray the life remains the same

Raptured only by emotion enslaved

Tears, they fall, moonlit and lonely

Take the hit

But deny the folly

Take my hand and pull me higher

Just to deny my utmost desire

Of love undone

Tragically skewed

Alone, I try

Together we die

And bury the sins

Seen through His lense
