Spark

Spark

A Poem by Brandon M. Whittaker
"

Just a little creative poem. I was thinking about a cigarette and how it burns and it inspired me.

"

Sparks fly
Like tiny flames
Airborne
Free
Searing with heat and energy
Touch one, it burns
Catch one, it dies
Destroy one, the light disappears
Just like me
And how I've suffered.

brandon, really great work, the entire concept is sculpted to conform to your thoughts and not the other
way around, the ending gave the meaning a touching aspect, to ponder the aspects of how a smoke
inspires such a delving work of passionate metaphorical retrospective examination, as how the core
reflects the authors life in general, your words really draw the readers thoughts to ponder, Well Done!!
