"Ugh! You forgot the duct tape?" Candice cried as Tony rummaged through the black bag he had at his side. They were crouched behind a bush in front of an old friend turned enemy's house. It was dark and their clothing consisted of all black garments and beanies. "How could you have forgotten the duct tape?"
"I don't know I guess I forgot, you were in such a hurry to leave!" Tony retorted and slouched on his knees in defeat of the situation. "But we can still do this!"
"How? The only way we were gonna keep the DOG from barking was to duct tape his mouth shut!"
"We could always give him peanut butter?" Tony suggested.
"Do you have peanut butter?"
Tony's eyes shifted back and forth for a moment before he answered.
"No..."
Candice let out another exasperated sigh. "Then why suggest it!?"
"We could snag some from the kitchen!"
"Yeah...but what if the dog sees us before then?"
Tony lowered his head at that one. That dog didn't really like him all that much after the time he accidentally closed a door on its head. It had recovered and the next time it saw him, it bit him in his rear end, leaving a nasty bite mark for weeks.
"Then...We're screwed...that dog doesn't like me..."
"Well, tell me you at least brought the plastic wrap..."
Tony went back to rummaging around in his bag and slowly stopped, looking up at Candice with a slightly scared expression on his face. That didn't bode well, it meant something was missing that he didn't want to admit.
"Uh...I think I may have left that, too..."
"This is the WORST revenge break in EVER!"
"What are you doing here?"
"What do you THINK I'm---Oh...s**t..."
Their target stood in front of them with a confused look on her face and then a smirk made its way to replace the look of confusion. "With all your yelling I'm surprised the whole neighborhood couldn't hear you..."
"Worst...partner...ever..." Tony muttered.
