Your Kind

Your Kind

A Poem by Patrick Lee
"

I believe, if I am not mistaken, that someone not so long ago spoke of this Dream he had...

"

Don’t breathe on me.

My air - is not your air.

So when you look at me

And try desperately to identify

That small thing that separates us and

Calls out in arrogance (or ignorance)

“We are not the same, you and I!”

Think about that when you read what I write

and seethe in anger because I made no mention of

your kind!

Well. This is well written, and I'm not sure if I like it or not, but it's a very put together piece. Good job.
