Annabell has to fight for her life as she encounters her nightmare.

Annabell remained quiet on the floor, so quiet and still, you would think she was a statue. She was trying to figure out what she saw then drew her attention back to the airvent earing the noice again getting closer to her. She froze in fright of dying remembering those horrible teeth and mouth. She swallowed hard hold her legs close and listening to the noice getting louder and louder. Eachtime that sound grew close, Annabells heart beated faster, and the cats snarling got more furiouse. There was no way, she was getting out his this mess with out a scratch. When the noice got to her airvent and stopped, Annabell completely stopped breathing, her heart stopped beating and her eyes and mind were focused on the airvent. It was quiet, all she could hear was her and the cats heart pounding against her body as she prepared for whatever came through that vent. Slowly, something began to crawl through and Annabell couldn't hear or feel anything. Then a simple mouse and its family poke its head through the vent. Annabell sigh in relief and laughed at herself as she got up. "Its just a family of mouses, I'm so stupid." she laughed quietly as she jumped on the bed putting the vent back in place and jumping off the bed openning her door to let her cat in. "It was just a bunch of mice like I told you." she nagged watching the cat come in and glare at the vent with a rare look. "Stop that, its just a harmless family." Annabell was not in the mood to fall for that trick or noice again, so she quickly got dressed in her silk PJ dress, fall onto the bed and wrapped herself in the warm blankets as the cat jumped on the bed with her and took his spot at the end keeping watch of the vent like a guard dog... or uhh guard cat. Annabell rolled her eyes and fell asleep the minute she snuggled into the feather pillows dreaming of whatever she could to get away from the fear she felt. The next day she woke up to a cold day in New York with the sun shining brightly in her eyes. The cat was meowing and pawing at her knee being the annoying alarm clock that he is so good at being. Annabell sighed and sat up petting the cat yawning big. "I'm up I'm up." she answered. She stretched long getting out of the fluffy bed, and hearing a loud bang on the floor. She cocked her head looking around and then looked at the end of her bed so see the airvent cover... off again. Annabell eyes widden and quickly looked up to see the airvent bare and dark. This time she didn't cover it back up though, she just ignored it and her imagination and prepared for school. She pulled random clothes out of the laundry basket, looked them over and dressed. She easily slipped into a pair of small jeans and a simple belly, black shirt with her slipp on shoes that didn't have a back to cover her heel. She walked into the bathroom looking at her reflection and just frowned. So normal, and beautiful, yet different and held so many secrets. Annabell ignored her thoughts in her reflection and started washing her face and putting on her make up. Her black eye liner was perfectly matched with her eyelashes and mascaara with blue eyeshodow and perfectly groomed eyebrows. Her cheeks needed no blush, even though her skin was very pale, she had flustering red cheeks that made her blue eyes really stand out. Her lips needed only a touch of chapstick and she was done, a perfect collage student. Her hair was a thin black and was easily brushed and pulled back in a high pony, out of her face and school work. Yes, such a normal looking girl deserved a normal life, but of course, fate likes to play games. As Annabell kissed the cat bye, she grabbed her bag and looked in it checking things off. "Ok homework, yes, money, yes, yes, yes, and yes." and headed to the door. "See you tonight kitty!." she called out closing the door, and locking it behind her. The cat meowed once tired and then went to a cat nap ontop of the TV. Annabell ran through the city like it was nothing new, which really is wasn't, and got on the subway just as the doors started to close. Good timeing. She sighed and took her seat by the south door, near an old lady and her grandson, waiting for her stop. The subway was never her first choice because of the homless, gangsters, and dirtbags on it, but she barley had any money to afford a taxi, will never make it if she walks, doesn't have a car, and a bus took longer then it did to walk. So subway was the fastest way, even if it did have creepy people on it. Annabell looked around bored to see she was being stared at by a man on the other side of the cart. She thought for a moment then remembered that she knew him. His name was Rick Kartman. He was a rich boy who lived in Queens, New York and went to New York University with Annabell. She seen him once or twice in class, but other then that, she was more on her work then the soicalness. He was handsome to Annabell, but he probabley didn't that way about her. Annabell smiled at him poilitily and turned away quick to look at the subway window. There was nothing to look at except lights and a wall, but anything was better then looking a guy whose starring right at you. She sighed and watched the light go by thinking of her nightsky ceiling and how calm is made her feel when she was stressed like this. Suddenly Annabell felt a light tap on her shoulder from behind. She slowly turned around to find Rick behind her smiling and his hand on her shoulder. "Pardon me, I couldn't help but notice your beautiful eyes looking at me, Have we met before?" he asked poilitly with an obvious looking flirt smile. Annabell sorta blushed as she looked at him and answered "Yeah, we go to the same collage, I'm Annabell Lee." she smiled. "AHH yes yes now I remember, for some reason you look much different when your not in a textbook." he joked. Annabell found it annoying, but she kindly smiled and nodded her head. Rick noticed her annoyed look suddenly stopped smiling."I'm sorry I offended you Anna, umm how about I make it up to you by buying you lunch... maybe a date?" Annabells eyes widden and her heart starting beating so loud, she was hoping he couldn't hear it. "Yes I would love to." "Great! meet me at the Italian restrant around the conor of the school." "Why don't we just walk together, I mean we have the same class." "Because... I have a surprise for you" he smiled. It was obviouse he wasn't planning anything good, but Annabell didn't notice it, sence shes never been on a date. So she just nodded and smiled at him and repeated what he said then got off the subway and to the school while he headed with his friends in a car.
