Sand Hill

Sand Hill

A Poem by Funk
"

none

"
She pulled from hand the left and right
the fingers fold to bend the light
what once was form is now distant
what was then an honor, now discontent
to shards become in shards remain
fractures all that are left explain
excuses come as do other waves
in softest tides they wash away
as flow does flow and  as earth remains
sand-hills form where once stood the man
nothing sought still remains
no imprint left on this plain of sand
an echo somewhere and a distant pulse
the dimness of marks the potential of
out of dust we rise and in the dust we land
Just do dance your dance, then pause, then lay
into dust remain in dust the end...
