Riverbeds

Riverbeds

A Poem by Fullmetal_tmd
"

Its rather old, but its better than nothing.

"

When these riverbeds dry,

the wolves can no longer quench their thirst.

They cannot drink that which falls from the sky,

for they are stained with the blood of a thousand prey.

When these riverbeds dry,

the wolves shall no longer have a home.

They shall die a death worse than those they delivered.

Forever they seemed lost

Until one day,

Man discovered wolves,

And the wolves sought salvation.
