Intrigue

Intrigue

A Poem by maiarusm

from across the room

eyes darkened with desire meet

in a tentative kiss

with a passion-filled dance

introductions are made
numbers are exchanged

a touch of heated flesh

a whisper of intimacy in the air
a promise of ecstacy within the darkness' lair

I like this... Yes, a little awkward, but what first meeting of lovers isn't awkward? Appropriate, I think. Great imagery, well written.
