~Chimera Sheets & Melded Smiles~

~Chimera Sheets & Melded Smiles~

A Poem by Colin

Fingertips trace sensuality
before shivers fade,
laying ley lines
between Dali-like limbs,

pathways are traversed
along subtle curves,
soft melody
whispers through
laden air;

we inhale melded memories
cooling sweated skin.

Half moon smile
reveals how I feel like earth
when spring breaks,
contented within bloom

of your arms.

Fabulous poetry -

Your first stanza is strong. I loved the "laying ley lines" which refelct milestones and geographical landmarks - at many levels. - Well and often traveled paths. You have been here many times and even so, you never tire of it, acknowledging the beautiful bloom that it is.

This is a treasure dear poet and truly a gift of awareness for one you hold dear. I loved it. ~Pamela
